Clifton YOLO Spaces - Clifton Beachfront Penthouse

Location was lovely - apartment was overpriced and not properly cleaned Positive: The team were on site when we arrived and helped carry the luggage up all the stairs to the apartment, which exceeded our expectations. Location was great. Negative: My first frustration was that the host only gave us 2 hour window for arrival. We were required to sign a document that said if we did not arrive within the 2 hours, we would be charged an additional fee. This was not conducive for travelling as we were and had to make sure we were there when the host wanted us to be there. While the location itself was great, the apartment felt quite average and looked tired for the price charged. It was evident that it is not properly cleaned between guests — we found someone else’s underwear behind a chair. On arrival, there were flowers, balloons and a cake delivered (which we hadn’t ordered), and we had to wait for these to be removed. The team were apologetic, but it was still inconvenient, as it took awhile. The photos on Booking.com are misleading, as they include more than just the three‑bedroom apartment, which makes the place look bigger and better than it is. Cleaning products provided were limited. While there was complimentary water in refilled bottles, there were no coffee or tea amenities, which was disappointing. Overall, despite the polite staff, the stay was well below the standard we expected for the price, so we’d have to rate it 3 out of 10.

Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my time there and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a spec Positive: The apartment was very clean and well maintained throughout my stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made everything easy and comfortable. The views over the ocean were absolutely astonishing and were one of the real highlights of the stay.
